Bachelor of Physiotherapy

B.P.T ( 4 ½ Yrs full time)

An Undergraduate in Physiotherapy is to impart in depth knowledge and skill to a student to become competent in the physical diagnosis techniques and develop the proper attitude for the practice of Physiotherapy and carry out treatment.

The graduate of physiotherapy program :

• Acquire adequate knowledge of the basic medical subjects in the Practice of physiotherapy.
• Develops skills and techniques of therapeutic massage and exercises for the management of various medical and surgical conditions.
• Develops proper attitude for compassion and concern for the individuals and welfare physically handicapped in the community.
• Demonstrates skill in teaching, management, research, guidance and counseling.

Eligibility :

Candidates for admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course should have passed the qualifying examinations, (Academic Stream) after a period of twelve years of study with the following subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany and Zoology with minimum of marks as per University Regulations.
